Spend a Summer Weekend Immersed in
Poetry on the Prairie.
Louisiana’s Poet Laureate Darrell Bourque leads Poetry on the Prairie Saturday,
June 21 at Maison Daboval Bed and Breakfast in downtown Rayne.
Spend the day exploring your creative side with guided exercises led by Louisiana’s official poet. A light, midday lunch will be served. Saturday night, pull up a chair at the cypress dinner table, share stories and enjoy a delicious, home-cooked meal prepared by proprietors Gene and Martha Royer. Overnight accommodations are also available, including Sunday breakfast.
